Me and my boyfriend wanted to try and go on a tour of El Yunque and we picked Island Journeys to give us a tour of Puerto Rico’s rain forest. It was a great experience and they thought of everything for you, they picked us up from the hotel, provided snacks and our tour guides, Maxine and Luis, really knew their way around. They were patient, fun, and very helpful. When exploring El Yunque I think a guided tour is the best way to go!

I had no idea what to expect when my wife and I booked an excursion with Island Journeys in El Yunque. What we experienced was far beyond anything I could have hoped and I will have these memories far longer than when my mind begins to fade. The guides were very knowledgeable on the rainforest along with the flora and fauna that can be found within. They were patient with their instruction, as well. Now let's talk about the water portion! The fresh cold water straight from the mountain felt refreshing and rejuvenating! Every natural slide we went down and every cliff we jumped off of gave us an exhilarating sense of life and joy. This company and their guides love Puerto Rico and after you book your expedition, you too will fall in love with Puerto Rico. I know I did! I can't wait to go back!

Amazing trip. The fruit was delicious. The rainforest was super fun. The cliff jump and rope swing are really thrilling and the guides were amazing and accommodating. We forgot our wallet on the bus and they were gracious enough to find it for us on their day off too.

Absolutely amazing experience! My hubby and I did this tour for our honeymoon and it was so worth it. Our guides Rene and Natalia were so awesome! We had a great time on the tour and our guides were a blast and very friendly. We did the day excursion with transportation from where we stayed, stopping for fresh fruit for a snack on our hike, hiking in the rainforest, dinner and kayaking. Everything was well planned and the food was excellent.
